ReelGreen offers activists and community leaders the tools needed to create local events that advance awareness about environmental issues, while delivering real strategies that work for achieving change and promote sustainability models.

ReelGreen’s goal is to provide individuals and communities with the tools needed to take action to solve local issues, using proven models that drive measurable and sustainable change in communities.

The film An Inconvenient Truth showed many Americans a reality of which they were unaware; this powerful medium inspired individuals, communities and governments to shift the conversation and drive change for climate protection. In the same way, ReelGreen uses motivating films as the catalyst to inspire individuals to move from audience to active participant. By offering key organizers the tools necessary to screen award-winning environmental films and present successful sustainability models, we empower communities not just with the problem to solve but with effective strategies for change.

ReelGreen acts as a facilitator to bring together resources, people, and solutions. We provide activists and community leaders with tools, including films, planning guides for events ranging from a single issue to a full festival, solution models, and proven strategies to build local and global partnerships—to plan a successful film event, then continue momentum, working with local communities to a successful project completion. In addition to films, we provide planning guides for events ranging from a single issue to a full festival.  To assist communities in achieving real change, we also supply models of effective solutions, and proven strategies for building local and global partnerships.

ReelGreen’s focus is on making the most powerful changes in the least amount of time—to improve local conditions and then replicate those proven solutions around the world.

By educating and inspiring increasing numbers of key individuals to action, ReelGreen will be is a catalyst for a the tipping point toward greening our world.
